De film van Rineke Dijkstra 'The Buss club & Mystery World' werd geselecteerd voor de tentoonstelling New Photography, die dit najaar wordt gehouden in The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Rineke Dijkstra's film 'The Buss club & Mystery World' has been selected for the 'New Photography' exhibition to be held at the MOMA, fall 97. Het Nederlands Foto Instituut nodigde drie fotografen, Wendy Ewald, Pauls Seawright en Rineke Dijkstra, uit om gedurende een jaar aan een project te werken met als onderwerp 'Constructing Identity', rond de vraag wat iemands identiteit bepaalt. Daarnaast gaven drie schrijvers, Anil Ramdas, Deirdre McCloskey en Gosewijn van Beek vanuit hun eigen ervaringen en disciplines hun visie op dit thema. This work is produced by the three photographers, Wendy Ewald, Pauls Seawright and Rineke Dijkstra, as a result of a year's work wich was instigated by the 'Nederlands Foto Instituut'. The subject of the project was to define the constituents of an identity.
