About this book
The Detective: Starring Janice Hallett is an ingenious puzzle thriller for fans of Agatha Christie and *Wie is de Mol?*. In this dossier, you’ll find the documents relating to the shocking events surrounding the Fairway Players theatre group, and the death of one of their members. Someone is currently in custody for the murder, but it seems that this person is innocent, and that a number of dark secrets have yet to be revealed. The murderer has given themselves away: somewhere within this mountain of emails, messages and letters lies the key to solving this case. Perhaps in the information about the charity evening to fund little Poppy’s life-saving treatment (and the question of whether the money raised actually went to the right place), in the emails from the drama society members about two mysterious newcomers, or even in the correspondence about the fierce battle for the lead role. It is clear that several members have something to hide…. ‘Stunningly clever.’ – Sunday Times ‘A daring debut: Janice Hallett has you in stitches in no time.’ – The Times
