About this book
This most famous Middle Dutch manuscript from the Gruuthuse Library (Bruges) is one of the few Dutch/Flemish classical texts, probably dating from the fourteenth century. These are not easy poems, but they are a magnificent example of late medieval cultural heritage. Exemplary in its design. Numerous miniatures from manuscripts – both black-and-white and in colour – adorn this beautiful edition.
