In the history of the railways, the development of the Beugen junction is a striking example of the economic and social developments in the East Brabant region. This booklet brings together ten stories by various writers, each of whom has conveyed their own perspective, specialist knowledge or impressions in their own unique way. The numerous maps and black-and-white photographs illustrating the various stories bear witness to a careful selection and lend the text a second dimension, not least because most of them have not been published before.
